new from above/ground press: What We Remembered Before the Fire, by Amish Trivedi

What We Remembered Before the Fire
Amish Trivedi
$5

Black & White

Things are not
as they once were, an

empress in the golden
age of cinema. Tongue-

tied and twisted,
an early morning glow

lifting above soil. Terror
crossfades at the

signal. It's these
small town politics

that give me the red
ass, said with

another drip of the
IV and pump of

compression plates. These
things have a way of

building the history
of television into

them.
