Rauschenberg – even his blankness
couldn’t stay sacred; the panels’ ashen trinity
not spoken of in a church although one couldn’t
be more immaculate than those vacuous

of air licked
by many. Frames for chance
theatre. Airports

for dust
                                                           mites.
